MCC MBBS Fees Structure for Deemed Universities in India
Pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognised university remains a top priority for thousands of medical aspirants across India. Among the many options available, Deemed Medical Universities have become a preferred choice due to several key advantages—such as UGC-recognised university status, strong academic records, high graduation rates, advanced infrastructure, and a well-established reputation nationwide.
Admission to MBBS programs in deemed universities is strictly based on NEET UG performance, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The seat allocation process is managed centrally through MBBS Counselling 2025, overseen by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. Only candidates who secure qualifying marks in NEET UG are eligible to participate in this MCC counselling process for Deemed Universities.
As per recent updates, India is home to over 50 Deemed Medical Colleges, offering close to 10,000 MBBS seats. All these institutions follow the NEET UG Counselling 2025 process, tentatively scheduled to begin from August 14, 2025. Eligible candidates must register on the official MCC website ( https://mcc.nic.in/) and complete the fee payment within the specified timeline to be considered for seat allotment.
